Washington Fire Department Chief

Justin Braziel serves as Fire Chief for the Town of Washington, bringing 11 years of dedicated volunteer fire service to the community. His training includes Firefighter I, Emergency Medical Responder, S-130 and S-190 Wildland Fire Training, L-180 Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service, and IFSTA Heavy-Duty Rescue and Extrication.

Outside the fire department, Justin has built his professional career as a diesel mechanic in the oilfield. His mechanical experience, strong work ethic, and hands-on leadership have proven valuable in maintaining equipment and helping ensure the department remains ready to serve.

Justin was born and raised in Texas but has proudly called Oklahoma home for the past 20 years. He and his wife, Alisha, have been married for 14 years and are blessed with three daughters. When he is not working or serving with the fire department, Justin enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors with his family.

For Justin, serving Washington is more than holding a position—it is a calling. He views the fire service as an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus by helping neighbors during their most difficult moments. As Fire Chief, he is committed to leading with faith, integrity, compassion, and a servant’s heart while working to protect and strengthen the Washington community.
